Alright, I've got a 2004.5 5.9L and want to install a Walbro GFS-392 pump on my truck. My question is, my stocker went out a while back in the -21 degree wind chill while on the road, so in a bind I had the truck towed to the nearest dealer and had them install the in pump conversion kit. Would I still need the 2003-2004.5 or need the 2005 and newer kit?

 

You need the newer kit. The 03-04.5 kit is for trucks with the filter mounted lift pump. Yours is already in the tank now so it should be the same as the 05 on up trucks.
