Walbro fuel system installed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally had the time to install the Walbro with my seperate 3/8" return line.
All went well, once I got the tank dropped. Superduty was correct in that the 1/4" swagelok in the return didn't flow enough even at its max. I kept pegging the needle past 30lbs on the fuel guage. I'm going to try the bypass restiction only. I just don't know what to limit it at. I'm thinking 1/8" or 3/16". I can't go by what others have used because I'm not running this bypass into the stock return, instead I've run a seperate 3/8" return back to the filler tube.
Any ideas ????
All in all, I think it'll be a reliable setup. I used the fass pickup tube and fass filler neck return tee. I can switch back to stock system in about 5minutes as a backup, if need be. Redundancy is a good thing.
Thanks to all involved and to those who gave me tips on the tank removal.

Yes please keep us posted! When you say , "Return back to factory in 5 mins" do you mean no signs of ever having the walboro system so that the dealer couldn't even think of denying warranty coverage or do you mean just functionally returning it back to factory if you need to?
Awesome work either way.

Congrats Trik, glad to see ya got it working.
The idea with the valve isnt a bad one at all, same principal as ppl are using on thier FP gauges I guess. If I were going to go that route, I`d run 1/2" line. That way there`s no possibility of too much restriction from the size of the second return line.
