Question for those over with 1000HP

For all you guys cranking out over 1000 HP, is this done with all stock internals, with the exception of valve springs? I made this claim to my cousin and he's asking for proof. Can anybody help me provide proof such as a website I can e-mail to him? Thanks for the help.

All that I know of in Lloyd's engine is F1 springs and a Helix cam for internals, everything else is stock inside, crank, rods and pistons!

"Had" as in past tense?? Birdy told me you guys broke a crank, that was spinning some billet rods......wasn't your truck was it?

And How much Hp does it take to break a crank.......I think were just makin too much power down low......

Yeah, had. We found out that these cranks bend... YES, the cummins crank bends.... Well we made over 35 dyno runs over 1K in 2 days and the crank got tired of bending so many times. Cylinder pressure (torque) is killing the crank. Making less torque and more HP in higher RPMs will somewhat save them. That is why they can make 1500 hp on these cranks, it is usually on a P-Pump truck that doesn't light turbos as fast as mine did. They are lighting turbos way up in the rpms. Mine made peak at 3,600 rpms and was flat from 3,100 to 3,700. It was just crazy power down low.

We saw evidence of main caps moving around at about 850rwhp. Rocker pedastals move around a bit too. Some larger studs helped in the pedastals, and some kryptonite bolts from ARP in the mains. ARP2000 material.
