Except for the turbo, this claim doesn't seem so outrageous. We don't have enough details. With a BD, some other fueling box, and injectors, it has been proven you can make over 600 - that's with a turbo though. It would be nice to know EXACTLY what he has. But if he does have that much HP, the torque isn't necessarily out of line on a properly loaded dyno. There are a cople of you guys with over 600hp that have put down 1400+lb-ft. I put down 1170 at 502hp. I expect to go around 600/1350 when I dyno next.

 

I have put down 1500+ foot pounds on a dyno but I have way more mods than that.

 

ask what kind of tranny he is running and if he has changed out his blinker fluid to free up more torque

The tranny is an upgrade, stock clutch? Doesnt make sense...

Let me know how it goes. What do you have for a cp3. I would imagine that a stage 2 wouldnt be enough anymore for something like that
