5 th wheel weighs 17,500 lbs , GCW 25K lbs
What an amazing machine..Started out with 13,500 lbs weight for 42' 5er. After W/D, freezer and my pack rat wife filling ever available space I was at 17,500.
Towed from Pensacola Fl to St Petersburg Fl, then to N. Ga. and on to Charolett N.C...Pulled great. Had to gear down to 3rd. on some of those Ga mountains.
Truck gets 22 mpg without 5er. With 5er got around 9 mpg doing 63 mph. ;D :) Got as high as 10-12 mpg in some places...can't figure that out ???
Heading back to St. Pete perhaps Sun.
