Question about a friends claimed 645HP 1400+ FT LBS

Mod list includes:

Some kind of fuel box
Triple Dog
Ported fuel rail
big exhaust
injectors
something done to the stock turbo

Seems like a lot of tq...

Sorry I couldn't be more specific, I don't know EXACTLY what he has but thats the ballpark...

Possible numbers?

I personally would call BS, cause i dont know of many truck makin over 500hp on stock turbo, and u really never see anything sayin "modded stock turbo" especually 3rd gens. and the ported fuel rail... i doubt u will find anyone with a mod like that and still stock fuel system......

Well I have a whole bunch more done then he does, and I only managed 632 and 12 something. So I am thinking he is pulling your leg. I am not aware of easy to do mods to the fuel rail personally. And I am thinking if you were going to do that you would have something better than a stock turbo..

just my .02

You need to go on TDR and PM TWest. He is doing a rail mod that is good for 20hp to 30hp depending on what power you are making. Very reasonable cost for this mod.

Cool, do you know what he is doing? I know a fellow up here that is working on a new intake design that he figures will be worth about 65 hp (give or take) I cant wait to try that when he gets it done

I know what he did to the stock turbo-removed the silencer ring! Thats good for at least 3-400 lb/ft of torque for sure!

TWest is boring the rail and working them very well. He has a custom rail to he has made but it is very pricey. I am having him do an extreme rail for me and I should be getting it back here in a few days.
