Quadzilla Defuel and Warning Settings

I just installed my Quadzilla XZT and Commander and was wondering if anyone can give suggestions on levels that I should use for both defueling and warnings. I am not going crazy with my driving (most of the time) but I would like to make sure I don't overdo anything.

Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure mine are conservative with the following
EGT warn at 1300 defuel at 1350
Boost warn at 38 defuel at 39
Trans warn at 205 and defuel at 210
coolant warn at 210 and defuel at 215
fuel warns at 2 -
rail warns at 26000 and defuel at 27000

but I would like to know if I should set them lower! Just from what i read on here these should be close. My boost seems high probably, but its due to the smoke switch. It maxes the boost ( fools the module to full fuel ) . Actual boost hasn't been over 33.

Thanks vzdude. I installed the Commander this weekend and have not had a chance to run it around too much since then (no towing, extended drives, etc.).

My max boost was 36 when punching it onto the hwy. Sounds like your numbers are good enough to start with. I will give them a shot and see how I do. I have to do some towing in the next two weeks so I will get a perspective then.

I searched some of qzilla's post for my info, and lowered it a bit it to my liking. I sure hope if I gave out bad info he'll chime in!

My numbers are very close to Vzdude. For mods with just an XZT and air box mod I can hit 39 boost warning about the time fuel drops to 0 and I back off. Guessing, I would say about an 8th of a mile. Need more fuel!

Sounds familiar! My boost doesn't get quite as high, but fuel goes to 0 fairly easy! Saving for the GDP kit!

So far I love it. I had some issues getting the gauges set the way I wanted them (the set-up directions weren't very clear and I kept getting multiples of some readouts) but otherwise I am pleased.

Performance is way better than I expected and MPG's are getting better than ever before (mild setting with the Smarty #3). Now it's time to save up for more modifications (CP3, trans, etc.).

The commander is set up to de-fuel on which ever paramaters you set it on say you set it to de-fuel on 1400 degrees pyro then no matter what setting the smarty is on once you hit 1400 degrees it defuels.. Atleast it does with mine and the mp-8

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. The Commander can only defuel by turning down/off a box that it can control. It can't change a downloader.
