Quad, with my history it takes a lot to make me flinch - and as I'm writing this, tears are flowing....
You and your wife have my deepest sympathy, and I'm sure you know the prayers are still coming your way from many here.
I will share this: we lost a child to miscarriage almost ten years ago, and my sister-in-law lost a newborn to ventricular malformation a few years before that. Nine years ago, both of our families were blessed with daughters, both very healthy and the jewels of our lives to this day.
You and your beloved will grieve for awhile, as you should. Then, one day, you will think back to your son, and a smile will come before the tears as you remember him. Then you will know the healing has begun.
Although you will never forget him, there will come a time to look ahead as well as behind - have faith in this. Because you and your wife, like all of the faithful, have many blessings ahead - and we all wish for you a flood of them.
Cling to one another, and cling to God - you'll both be stronger as one, and with Him, your future will shine. And never forget - you will see your son again!

Quad, my most heartfelt condolences. I have 3 kids of my own, one which was sick at birth - I can barely imagine the pain you are going through. I am not a man of great faith, but my thoughts will be with you and yours through this tough time.
