I know this has been brought up many times but I emailed someone from Quadzilla and they told me I need to disconnect the black rubber hose going from the turbo to the wastegate to get the boost fooler to work on my '03. Does this sound safe and what problem could occur? Thanks for the info!

 

You could. But a better method is using an adjustable boost elbow. Find it on ebay for about $20.
