Pyrometer problem

hey folks. i am having a problem with my Autometer EGT. When I start the truck from cold all is well, within about ten minutes the gage stops working. It changes from reading zero, to about half it should.

Is this the thermocouple going? How hard is it gonna be to unscrew it from the manifold. I DID use anti seize.

Thats what happened with mine. Replacing mine was VERY easy as I used anti-seize as well. Screwed out very nicely.

You could try slapping the gauge also to see if it comes back.

Also check your ground I found it was best to ground to the engine.
