Tires, Tires, Tires. It's all about hooking up. I met Paul Tracy's Dad once and had a decent conversation about tires. I was a tire specialist for a team at the time and barely kept up. There are few engine mods, if ANY, that can make as big a difference as not only the correct tires but the correct tire setup. Granted, this was a conversation about Indy cars, Toyota Atlantic cars, and carts, but, tires are where the rubber meets the road.

Anybody have any information on the pulls at St. Peters, I didn't see anything in the paper about "truck pulls" only tractor pulls. Also what would I need to pull the sled? Reciever insert? Kill Switch? Helmet?....

Lincoln county fair is right around the corner and I am sure they will have some truck pulls there also...

I might just give one of these a try for fun....

You probably will not find truck pulls in the paper.. They usually come along with the tractors at the same event. And you will need an empty reciever (no ball) with a clevis to hook up. Most don't require a helmet or kill switch unless you are running the pro-mod classes. The whole key to the pulling it tires and NO WHEEL HOP if it starts to hop let off that is what breaks stuff. Good luck and Have a good time!!
