i have a 2004-4x4 2500 ctd. and was wanting to get a programmer for it and i am looking for a resonable priced one and a programmer that will give me the most power possible. Any input would be appreciated. thanx

 

Are you looking to upgrade your tranny or turbo latter?

 

I'm more than happy with my Triple Dog I put in 2 days ago (I started a thread on it), and there's a couple for sale in te clasifieds right now too. I got mine off there, some good deals.
People rave about the Smarty's too, fairly new though and hard to find used.

I'm Fighting It But Might be a Lost Cause... Just Had 14k on my 2006 Trip Bully Dog ! Put Back To Norm, Back To Dealer,Dealer says Some one has Tampered With Computer ? Well i was One That Thought The Ones Saying Dealers Would Know Where Full Of Manure, Well Guess What I'm WRONG ! And i did know them Very Good ,Bought many trucks there ! Just a Heads Up Here . Called Bully dog Also ,They Said They Can Tell If you use a bully Dog !
Or any Programmer . I Feel Very Dumb , had 84k left on warranty ..........

Did you're Bull Dog and Truck have the same software?
I heard there's some people who get the warning and install the wrong software anyhow..?

I've also read on here some people have used the BD and gone back to the dealer for a tranny rebuild. If all programmers can be seen by the dealers I doubt they'd redo your tranny.

BTW, what was your reason for going to the dealer?

 

i am not really looking at upgrading on tranny or turbo if that matters. and i only have about 5000 more miles before my warranty runs out. has anyone ran the diablo predator?
