Program your own POWER
What if.....
What if you could decide how much timing...how much pressure...how much duration and what RPM the changes take place? What would it be worth to be able to write your own program, change it whenever you like using your computer and a USB cable??? No more stacking this with that and still not getting what you want.
No one knows what you want but you! There are some great boxes and downloaders out there but they're all someone elses idea of what you need and when you need it.
Why hasn't anybody designed a completely user programable box?
I want to be able to sit at my computer and think about how my truck performed today and make the changes I want to make it perfect. Make it work the best it can with the mods that I've made, instead of simply choosing Level 1-x.
We pay about $500 bones + for a box now, it seems to me that making your own program should easily be worth $1000-$1200.
Is anyone working on anything like this???

I know of some work being done in this area but DC's computers are a tuff nut to crack. And some work was shutdown due to legal issues, don't know if it was from DC or aftermarket.

Only problem there is people that dont know what they are doing having access to that, then messing up their truck and complaining about it.
The good thing about the boxes availible, is they do the leg work on those options, for best performance without worrying about damage.
I just see too many people saying "Well, I tinkered with this setting, and killed the truck...."
Now, it wouldnt be a big deal if a tutorial or something came with it, so you learn the peramiters before you start adjusting settings....

Like Stacked97 already mentioned I forsee a lot of screwed up trucks unless there are some built in safety features. I wouldn't want one unless it came with some preset programs also.
