Problem With Quad!! Opinions??

Ok I have had the Quad RP gauge for about 2 months now and it has been working great and still is!! Well about 2 weeks or if that ago my truck through a P0192 code. Well it turned out being the Rail Sensor gone bad! I didn't point any fingers at the quad because I figured it may of just went out. I thought that because the gauge was still work great.. Well now 2wks later I cranked my truck up this morning and BAM it did it again!! Now Im pointing fingers at the quad gauge.. I know these things are know to cause issues. But c'mon really.. I bought that sensor from Cummins 2wks ago and theres no reason for it to go out that fast! Im calling quad today. Yall think they will buy me a new sensor?

Just got off the phone with Ross from Quadzilla.. Really nice guy. He told me to take the gauge off and send it in. They would test it and see if thats causing the sensors to get ate up. Now my only worry is that how are they going to tell this? The gauge works and reads perfectly fine. But for some reason this is the 2nd Rail Pressure sensor that has gone out in 2wks out of the blue.. This gauge is the only thing thats hook into the rail sensor also.. Any ideas?

Yes, they will warranty the sensor if you don't give them the history w/ mods used. I was able to get mine warrantied after about 2 months of paperwork and processing.

No I have not had any water under the hood.. Should I try to get quad to replace the sensor or bring it back to cummins and just say it up and quit..

Dumb question but are you 100% sure that the rail sensor is bad? I'm not seeing the connection between just a rail pressure gauge and a sensor going out? The rail gauge doesn't add any extra pressure or change the pressure...it just measures it. If you clear the code will it come back immediately or do you have to drive it for a while? I'm leaning towards another cause like corrosion/moisture in the connector/harness or another failure of something causing the code. I could be wrong however but just can't see the relation between a rail pressure gauge and failed sensor.

These gauges are know to have issues. I know its the sensor bad again because if you plug the gauge back up it will not read anything so the sensor isn't putting out any signal. Thats how I narrowed it down last time and I put a new sensor in and the truck was fine! Now 2wks later the problem again!! Just don't get it? I never had any issues in til I installed this gauge about a 1.5 months ago..

I cannot find a code p1092 for our trucks in the manual. I assume you mean you have code p0192 (fuel pressure sensor voltage too low). If this is the case then have you actually checked what the pressure is vs the voltage output? Where and how does the quad rail pressure gauge get it's reading?

I still bet you have a poor connection or other issue and not a bad rail pressure sensor but I am also not 100% sure how the quad gauge hooks up.....

Sorry I mis typed it. Its p0192.. The gauge hooks into the factory rp sensor. Even when you completly take the quad gauge off and plug the factory harness back in the truck still does it. What happens is when the Rail pressure sensor goes bad it doesn't have any signal to send to the fca then the fca just gives max pressure and makes our trucks sound horrible at idles! Like a really bad 12v motor..

you talking about measureing voltage on the quad?

what the heckkkkk, the 12v by far the best 5.9 out there,it sounds like a real truck,if i was able i would put a 12v in my quadcab, anyways, ive had a quad rp gauge and now the camander, ive never had an issue with iether reading rp,ive washed my engine bay also with no issues,it may be some fluke thing.
