Pulled all boost hoses do not see any cracks or sources if a leak

Did all the clamps look good?

The next step will be to pressurise the whole system from the turbo inlet. You may have to make a adapter with PVC and a tire fitting.

Clamps look good everything was very hard to get off. Should there be oil in the tubes everything is bone dry

Should be no oil, that's an idication of a bad turbo seal..


One other thought is the WG actuator has failer internally, and even thou you plugged the boost reference line, the drive pressure may blow it open?

Going to be a hard one to test thou.

How are you reading boost? Analog gauge or thru the data port?

Ok im really confused now today driving the truck home just for the heck of it I got on the throttle and low and behold the truck acted like it had no problems. No loss of boost right up to forty lbs no problem. So now at this time its intermittent.

Maybe it was a boot slipping and in your moving them around it fixed it?

I sure hope so! It still did it right after we got everything put back together but has not since.
