pro comp's tires
Finally im in the market for some new tread's. I have 2 tires in mind that I have seen on DTR, my first choice is PRO COMPS xtreme A/T an 2nd TOYO OPEN country m/t. I have an 04 3500ram cd ext 4x4 and dont have plans on lifting, I dont tow anything, also plan on keeping the stock 17" rims.
All I want to know is if these choice of tires are good or if there are any others I should consider, what size tire I should go with(dont want to go to big I like a little wheel well to show). I like the mud tire look but dont drive in it.
Any remarks will be appreciated, thanks

Just put a set of Procomp Extreme AT's on my truck last week. I talked to several people that had 30k on a set and still had good tread left. So far I am pleased. They are as quiet as the BFG AT's that just came off yet more aggressive. We went up over Mesquito Pass this weekend (13,100 feet) and they handle everything well.
Stay tuned.

My tire guy told me that procomps are made by cooper, so they should be good tires. A buddy of mine just ordered a set of 35x12.50 extreme ats for his ford dually, we should get it lifted and them on this weekend so maybe I can be a little more help then. I have seen a set though in 37x13.50, very good lookin for an AT. I dont ever see any around here so I would get em just for the differant factor.

I am coming close to 20k on my pro comp mt's and they have about 50% of their tread left on stock rims. I have no complaints with them. I run 42psi in the front and 38 psi in the rear unloaded to keep the centers from wearing. A buddy of mine has 50k on a f-350 and they still have tread left with him pulling skid steers everywhere. Just don't go with x-terrains, they have a softer rubber and wear quickly.

I have 35x12.50 xtreme at's with about 7k on them about 70% left I wouldnt recommend the soft xtremes on these heavy trucks. the rear actually wear faster pushing all the weight around. they look nice though

I've got about 25 K on my Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's and I love them, plenty of tread left. Great traction and alot quieter than I expected. Plus I wanted to keep the E load range.
