I helped Cmnspwr install his pump w/ filters and all we had to do was pull the line off the CP3 and leave the key turned on until fuel came out of the hose. It fired right up after doing this. Before pulling that line we couldn't get it started.....
On my truck I just turned the key to "on" a couple times and it fired right up....

Crack the FASS line at the OEM filter housing till fuel comes out then tighten up. On a full FASS not sure if the original filter stays or goes...hopefully someone that has one will let you know.

I just finished my install today. I turned the key to the ON position and I could hear the pump start working. I went through this about 3-4 times, during one of those last ones it "sounded" like it was ready. Cranked the key, and it started!
