I was wondering if anyone has personal experience with this turbo? What are some more familiar turbos(HTT or Phat Shafts) that are equal to it? I know it is overpriced and not worth it if buying new, but I met up with some Forum members in AZ toaday and one of them said he has a used one with less than 10,000 easy miles on it that he says he just outgrew, and The price is only $600. I'm looking to see if this is enough turbo to allow the use of my boxes on max with the new 70hp DDP injectors I just got and keep my EGT's reasonable.

 

I have it in my twins setup so I can't comment on it alone. Also they have a new exhaust housing for it that they just sent me,...again that is in the twins application but I suppose there may be choices of housings for it. It is basically the s300 that BD and many others use with tweaking by whoever is offering their own application so it can yield varying results, but I certainly wouldn't think it would be in the same classification as the HTT or Phat Shaft which are considered big singles. It works good in my twins setup and I can't wait to install the new exhaust housing which I crudly measured to be 12cm. I never measured the original housing on this setup as everything came totally bolted together and ready for installation. I would have to say if the guy accurately described the condition of the turbo then it would certainly be well worth the money. I also believe there are a lot of upgrades for that turbo should you feel it necessary.
