Pretty sure any of that electrical stuff will void your warranty. Usually just depends on the dealership.

I think these days if you rip a good fart in your truck you can void your warranty if the dealership is having a bad day.

If the mod contributes to the failure then the repair will be on your dime. That's what the Cummins warranty basically says. So pick your modifications carefully, based on what "failures" you are willing to swallow, by pushing the envelope. Most likely failures by most accounts are: lift or transfer pump failure, cracked injectors, transmission failure, turbo failure, cracked or burnt engine components.

A lot of people would wait for their warranty to expire to get crazy with the power mods. A lot of us just say what the f$*^!
Cheers
Mike

I dont understand the logic of waiting for the warranty to expire before modifying?
You are going to have to pay for it either way if it breaks

Dodge Techs

On the "other site" is a **** good Dodge tech: Bob 4x4 who states when dealing with a driveability problem Dodge requires him to sign a statement of the results of the scan. Overboost,h.p.,timing etc. show up on the diagnosis and your warranty for the engine just went up in smoke. Ahh! Smell the scent of burning money! "You are your own warranty station" The new trucks are pretty powerful and if I owned one ,I'd leave the power enhancing mods alone unless you're prepared to pay through the nose. Now back to my "53" block paranoia.

My thought exactly . KNOCK, KNOCK, so far at 45,000+ miles I have not broken anything and I have pushed it pretty hard at the track. At the current mileage rate I would have had to wait 3 1/2 years or so to mod .

I do believe that if you start modding you better be prepared to pay the price reguardless of any Magnuson Moss Warranty Act or what any manufacturer or dealer for that matter says.

My next truck will NEVER see the inside of a Dodge dis-service department. Warranty or no warranty

If you were willing to sign off on warranty seems dodge might be willing to cut the cost of the vehicle to you ?

You'd think. I was dumb enough to purchase an Extended Warranty . But at least my light bulbs and weather stripping should still be covered for another 3 or 4 years

I am in agreement with Scotty, I buy a new truck and car every four years and none have ever seen the inside of a Dealer in the last 25 years.
