hand calculating will tell all. I got 17.1 on my truck on the trip from Idaho when I bought it according to the EVIC when I pulled into the driveway.
you might be getting more than what the EVIC says!

Now don't forget This is my truck, Lift and 35" tires. So the speedo is off, My last truck was 10% so if you add the 10% thats 605.5 miles and It took 31.6 gal so thats 19.163 MPG, Even without adding for the tires its still 17.42 MPG. I will be checking my speedo soon but I know it will be close to the 10%. So with about 65% of the 550 miles on back roads and town driving I am quite sure I will see over 20 MPG on a trip whitch will get me around 700 miles per tank.
Did I tell ya I LOVE THIS TRUCK

You know I was never going to put the reprogrammer on my 2003 Duramax thought I didn't need it. Then my buddy out ran me so bad with his 6.0 Furd I went to Jegs and got one the next day, the next weekend I blistered him about 5 truck lengths from a dead stop. So what I'm getting at REDLINEGUY is where do you live so we can run one off or you could just take me a ride and show me the difference to push me over the edge to get all the stuff you did............

I've had a few tanks around the 20mpg area, using my GPS to calculate the distance travelled. I gained about 3-4mpg just from doing the delete. The truck runs way better deleted than with the smog junk plugging up the exhaust. The turbos/head will probably last longer as it not as hot as stock. I noticed the other day towing my RV, I got faily close to 1300 deg's a few times, on stock mode. Had to take my foot off the throttle, the stock turbo is way too small for the 6.7L, if you do any serious towing. I'm going to looking into seeing what size of impeller I can upsize the stocker with.

Nope, will be the same turbo, it just been adjusted for the higher flow wheel. I'll look into it next week and see whats available. I want to use one in twins set-up. I have two spare 6.7 VGT turbos in my garage.

I remember reading about the turbo used on the 8.3 being bolted onto a 6.7 with the VGT and exhaust brake intact, and it made 600 HP!
