I noticed in Geno's catalog they sell an optional wiring kit for the Optix gauge. Do I need to buy the optional wiring kit to install the gauge and pyro?

 

You don't have to. The gauge comes with a pigtail that you can wire in yourself.

 

I was wondering the same thing when i started buy these from Optix. Optix told me that some distributors don't buy the 3 gauge kits. They buy boost guages, pyro gauges, and so on. If you piece you kits together, the harness has a dimmer in it. This is to get all of the LEDs to match each other. If you are just doing a single gauge, there is no need to get the harness. Make sure the kit you are getting has the probe. I can't remember if Genos sells the gauge and probe separately.
