No they are not the same the tourqe dog is a pressure box and the VA is timing and duration. It also did it with my power pup and the va.

I don't think he's draining the rail with those two boxes. I would however unhook them both and see if the issue is still there. If not, try both boxes one at a time and go from there.

I think your draining the rail. My truck would do it when I had my Quad race box and the VA 3.2. It was ok as long as I did not put the VA 3.2 on high, I could run the Quad on the 140 setting and the VA on the mid setting and it was ok. If I would put the VA on high I could not even run the 100 setting on the Quad. I'm going with wide open diesel pump kit for $299.

It also says in the information you get with the VA 3.2c that you need a lift pump to run this box.

It only does it in 6th gear at wot with the VA on high and the Torque Dog but with the Power Pup on 90 and the VA on high it does it anytime I get on it. I will say the power with the VA is much smoother than with the Power pup and much less smoke doesnt feel as strong down low but much more up top, I also gained 4psi of boost with the VA and TD over the PP and TD this is all with the wastegate blocked.

Yes you need a better lift pump. You are surely draining the rail with that setup...

So will an aftermarket lift pump keep from draining the rail or will only a modded CP3 and lift pump keep this from happening.

Both, and you still might drain the rail, but it will be noticeably more power w/ just the lift pump alone. I don't think people realize how much more power they can acheive by sending 30-50psi to the CP3, even a stock CP3 wants 30-50psi. I'm draining the rail w/ my set up if I turn things up too high.

A better lift pump will definitely help keep you from draining the rail. A better CP3 will give you even more power.

Jesse,
Obviously on modified trucks we all need some sort of unit like a FASS, or GDP setup.
But the cutting out cannot be prevented typically unless you get a modded fuel pump.
