pics of linex coated rocker panels
All,
I am debating on coating my lower rocker panels all the way back to the rear bumper in black to match my black wheels, fender wells and Line-X bed liner. I have the dark gray truck, but want to see what it might look before commit. The guy wants $250 to do it by the way. Thanks!

From what I have seen the rockers always look dirty and the black fades. I have a white truck and need some protection on my rockers. I have looked into having them linexed but then I saw a truck that had been done. Trucked looked clean rockers looked dirty. If you live in a city it may not be a problem.
Its always looked great when I've seen it done, they clean up really easy to. The guys around here just pressure wash them and theyre back to jet back. I will be having mine done soon to.
My dads white 07 quadcab 3/4 short box is done up with line-x and i love it, i've always debated doing it to mine too. This picture is with his factory tires on, hes got mudders on now and looks twice as good.
i have the same color truck. i love my rocker panels. the black does fade but if you put tire foam cleaner on it, it will bring the shine back for a few weeks. the truck is dirty in the pic so the rocker panels look worse then they are.
