Pics of 305/65/17 on a leveled truck
Need tires. Trying to decide on what size. Don't want to kill mileage. I like the way the 295's look but was curious what a set of 305/65's would look like.

sorry about that,
Wap,it is an auto
nitis,I like have a little taller tire to help fill in the wheel well and also like the look of a wider tire. I just don't want to go too big and kill mileage

With an auto the taller the tire the more it will hurt you mpg. I can t tell any diff in my truck with the 34" tall tires. I think my interstate mpg is a little better and my around town is a little worse so it evens out, plus I have a heavy foot anyway.
BUT I doubt that the diff in milage b/t the 295 and 305 will be enought to matter, Id get the tires that looked best.
