What can be done to an 07 5.9 as far as a programer with out voiding the warranty. I dont wannt try to fool the dealer but I would like to get a little more out of the truck

 

If you install anything that increases power, that can void the warrenty on anything that can be damaged by that extra power. Like the trans, or differential. Also, they could say that tapping into the ECM caused it to fail.

What won't be affected will be things like A/C and P/S parts.

I used a Smarty Jr, because once it's been returned to stock, it's undetectable.

 

They will all void your warranty. Its whether or not your dealer finds out about it. Not saying its right or wrong, but that is the answer to your question.
