Which pan is better???

Hey Guys. I want to replace the stock tranny sump pan and differential cover. Mag Hytec has some nice looking covers for both. But I found www.yourcovers.com offering cast aluminum covers for a substantial savings (about $100 less for both)... but I'm not sure if the quality is as good. Does anyone have first-hand knowledge of these products. The www.yourcovers.com has what seems to be a good deal. Thanks. Michael.

I own both, mag dd trans pan and your-cover rear. Quality is about the same. If you buy your-covers it cost $25 extra for the black powder coat finish, still alot cheaper. I am happy with both. Tim

Intersting, the guys from Your Covers make it sound like an O-ring is a bad thing. Looks like it doesn't come with a dip stick or a temperature port. The Mag-Hytec covers are a nice piece of precision machining.

Re:Which pan is better???

Here's another possible option...Jet Performance Products has some tranny pans. Their web site, www.jetchip.com, has a really nice looking pan for Dodge 727's at $189.95. Their pans hold 2 extra qts of fluid. I'm not so sure that pan will work for our ATs or not. I'm planning on e-mailing them when the time comes for my first AT service to see if they have a pan for my truck...
