Stacks?

Anybody putting stacks on their 03's or 04's. And if so how does it sound. I have dual 5's on my 2nd gen. flatbed and it sounds awsome. Just wondering if the new ones have some sort of the same effect.

Re:Stacks?

Fourknee,
That looks pretty cool. How did you plumb it up?
By the way, do you ever get up to Saline Valley?

Re:Stacks?

It is a plumbing nightmare under the truck. Came down to the end of the cab and put a Y in and then went over to the drivers side and back up towards the engine and around the fuel tank and back out the side behind the cab. It took some doing to get it around but it got it done with lots of help though.
I haven't up to Saline Valley in a long time. Use to go all the time for dirt bike rides.

Re:Stacks?

I'm considering stacks on my 03' also, don't know if I should run straight or with a muffler. I wish I could hear both ways before attempting though. I have heard others say that it won't sound as good as the older generation motors though. Hope someone has attempted this?

Re:Stacks?

Fourknee,

Besides dirt bike riding, did you ever go to the hot springs in Saline?
Thanks for the stack info, sounds busy under there.

Re:Stacks?

But it was pretty loud right? My motto is you have to hear it before you can see it!!
