P0071 code

My truck has just thrown a P0071 code and the check engine icon pops up intermitantly on the dash.

Dealer says it due to my Airaid CAI and the Muffler and lost kitty. Strange thing is I'vd have the parts ont he truck for 12K miles and never threw any codes or check engine lights before.

Any suggestions? I am thinking the sensor may be bad but the dealer is defalting to the parts they see on the truck as the cause.

Could be a bad/dirty Ambient Temperature Sensor. If you clear the code does it come back immediately? I have seen that code and a couple of others when I was messing around with the AFE intake and did not have that sensor installed.

I havent't cleared the code but it just got back from the dealer so I'll see if it comes back. My info says this is the sensor by the radiator on the drivers side. Is that correct?
