Even when I try a power brake off the track it will just smoke and smoke it seems to just take too long to build boost.

For the tnt setting I was using #9, timing 2, torque 4, rail 2. Don't get hardly any timing rattle. Did get some rattle while it was over fueling.

If I can get this over fueling figured out I can get my 60 down.

Any and all ideas welcome
Mine is about the same way even with twins. It will take a several seconds to get boost built up and I only launch with 10 psi before the N2O kicks in. One thing I have found that works well is cycling the throttle a few times before holding it steady. Give that a try.

For me it is always BLACKING OUT the track guys building boost. With a big laggy single and Smarty fueling it just takes practice and a good wind. Like suggested feather throttle and roll into it slowly, but mine will still black out half the track. I am finishing a stack install tomorrow so I don't have to worry about smoking the lights half the time.

Watch me build boost in the video in my signature. That is about normal and my TC stall is fine. I think Nitrous kit with a separate switch for just a little shot at the line to start lighting the turbo is in my future. It is cheaper than twins anyway.

Here is a video of my 05 on a 11.20 pass. The launch was at 20psi.

What rpm, boost, and rail pressure are you launching at?

PaulB has it right.

Turn down the TQ management.
When you get to the line and you are all psyched out you will tend to get a bit hasty with the throttle...Turning down the TQ management will help enormously with that little problem.

After you pass the burnout box slowly build a few psi of boost before you roll into the first light. When you are ready to lite the second you only need a small throttle adjustment. Once you get comfortable with the process you'll be able to load the truck on the line.

I will try all the suggestions and see what works. I finaly got to the track and it was the last day of the season. I did run a 13.67 not too bad for just learning. The tree does take alot of practice on building boost and hitting the lights. I will turn down the TQ check rpms and rp while building boost.

So from what you are saying the fueling is right just timing and practice, also you pretty much smoke whenever you drive and take off from stops or slow corners.
