I never have liked the chevy cab light look. The wide lite in the middle just looks cheap to me.
Well thats a matter of opinion. Now that we are in suicide season if a person wanted off themself they will turn into you headon thinking you were a semi-truck(quick and easy). This happened last spring only the girl that was trying to kill herself lived to tell about it. HELLO seatbelt, airbags, remove first for maximum impact. SORRY thats my demented fireman side of me . REMEMBER death don't take no holiday

Here are mine

I had problems with the recon lights they were not complete for someone who didn't already have them and the company took forever to ship them out. These are the ones from the factory that I added and then I smoked them my self. At night they are as bright as they were. I like the look of cab lights plus I think there is added benefit at night people always give a little more space. The big rig add lights not just because they like them it helps keep people around them alert. my truck is big and black so I want others from missing it at night. I am also going to add some running light down low on the sides to help.

Opinions are appreciated. I wanted to know what you guys would think!! So not so much on the Chevy lights no problem I bought my CTD for it's awesome power too I don't think Chevy lights would be the demise of it I think it would just set it off and be different..??

I love the looks of the cab-lights.. I have read the post about recon and how people have had bad luck with them... I am probably just going to call the dealer and see how much it costs to get them installed. I do like the big rig look and safety also!!

Thanks Shane

To get the one from the dealer go to Dodgeparts.com. You get the same exact ones from the dealer, just a little bit cheaper. The kit comes with a template and all of the wiring and instructions. There about $85.

Just my 2 cents, I kinda like the look of no cab lights. I spent alot of extra time to make sure I found a truck that didnt have them,,, but of course everyone has their own oppinions.

They are required by law on a dually. (Due to the width.)

That's true, but nobody ever said the vehicle code made sense! Here in CA anything over 8' wide (I believe thats the correct width) requires marker lights above the cab (and elsewhere)

Because when a vehicle is wider than "normal" it is also important to know how tall it is...

I guess, it makes no sense to me either...

Wow, the Vehicle is stupid!!! I think it's retarded that you have to have amber or red, or white turn signal and marker lights. I can see having a standard for brakes and reverse, but the point of marker lights is to MARK where the vehicle is. The point of turn signals is to alert people you are turning. Having all kinds of different colored light would actually get MORE attention and thereby alert drivers better than having everyone have the same colors. It is SOOOO STUPID!!!
