Which one can fill all these requirements?

Hey guys, I have been searching and reading about programmers till i am blue in the face (maybe more than once) and I can't figure out what is the one that will work for me.
I'm not lookin to make massive amounts of power (stock clutch won't handle it),
I will be using the truck for towing a 5th wheel and/or 19' boat, hunting/fishing and when the weather is crappy basically.

I'd like a lil more power, better economy would be great, and I would like the systems that come with guages to include the option for EGT temps and the ones with "real time MPG" would be great!

I've looked at the Edge Attitude, Quadzilla Adrenaline and Pulse CM, Bully Dog PMT and GT tuner....

Recommend away please! I'm getting confused!:help:

I like my Quadzilla XZT module but I don't know how the Adrenaline's gauge's are. I'm sure alot of people will suggest a Smarty and adding the gauges but so far my Smarty is way overated on my 06 (less mpg and less power than the Predator that I had before).

The edge is a good box, the gauges have been iffy throughout the time I have followed them. Sometimes, it takes a little common sense with them.

I really have not heard bad things about the BD.

Personally, I would use mechanical gauges and a smarty jr, but that's me. I'm not on the smarty bandwagon, but...

Any way you go, mechanical gauges are the 'smartest' choice. They will remain constant no matter what tuner you run.

I would not recommend the Smarty TNT-R to the writer of this thread because of what he said about the mods he has or is willing to do. It is too much for his needs.

As for your comment above,... you like many read about the Smarty and glowing reports of power and so you buy it and then are dissappointed. Why? Because you are trying to build your truck from the top down instead of from the foundation up. You need a solid foundation of mods to realize what the Smarty has for you and until that's done you are going to be dissappointed. Once you get to the proper mods you will be quite pleased with the Smarty. With your truck, as it is in your mods,.. I wouldn't run it over SW3.

Spend a couple grand on a South Bend OFE with the Solid Flywheel Conversion. The Dual Mass setup won't last even with the mild Tow program I have on my SuperChips 3805. Just make sure the installing mechanic doesn't rip the shift tower boot on the G56...that little rubber bellows will cost you a fortune!

I know Banks products are not well liked on this site, but for good power and reliability, Banks is hard to beat. I've never rode in Banks powered dodge, but I have rode in an 03 Duramax with the 6 gun. Just on level 3 the truck was real strong. Banks also has products just for towing. The PDA with gauges is pretty sweet, it will defuel when temps get to hot. But if you want all out power and smoke, stay away from Banks.

My .02 would be to go with the Quad Xzillaraider and Commander. I'm kinda in the same boat as you and so far it has been great for me. There is a lot of great products out there, I'm sure you'll find something to work out.

Real Time MPG are still just a guess-o-meter. Get a Smarty Jr and stay on the lower settings when towing and get some mechanical gauges. If your primary purpose is to get better MPG then don't do anything, easy on the go pedal cost you nothing. Banks is way high priced for what you get, the gauges on the Juice are questionable at best. Quad products are good and have an excellent price. You don't need the adrenaline though, get the Xzillaraider II
