offroading, worried about diff fluids
My truck has had many adventures offroad, i have 35k miles on it and have never changed the fluid, i have been in mud up to my doors, im thinkin somethin is in my diffs, when i pop them open in a few weeks to put the gears in what am i in store for?
Amsoil just released in January, a new 75W-110, splitting the difference between the 75W-90 and 75W-140. I just bought 6 quarts to install with my new PML cover.

I change my diff fluids regularly with Redline products, and the PML covers make it much easier.
I drove the truck through over 30" of water in Houston last year, and when I changed the diff fluids there wasn't a trace of water anywhere.
If you offroad a lot, I'd recommend checking your fluids regularly for the presence of water and/or debris, in case one of the seal/gaskets isn't 100%.
