Went Offroading... BAD idea
What?
Dont fix that. That is prob. your trucks first battle scar! Thats awesome. Keep on keeping on . Oh yea, it's alot cheaper to leave that way and your truck will look better now. and where are those pics?

It reminds me of a story. I broke my hand racing motocross and was supposed to go out to Anza Borrego with a bunch of friends back in 1985. I go anyway even though I cant ride because of my hand. Anyway, my friends girlfriends has a friend that goes and her boyfriend brings out a new Honda Pilot (Full Suspension Odessy) that had been in for a ton of recalls and its his first trip were everything is supposed to go right for him until I roll the thing 14 times and basically destroy it. That night we went four wheeling on a poker run and we are in the middle of the 50 or so trucks that are involved. Well for the rest of the night I hear nothing but cussing as we are on trails that you cant get out of and they are only wide enough for Toyotas and we were in his brand new 1986 K1500. The bresh out there basically took the WHOLE sides of his truck to metal so dont feel too bad about yours.
Basically, I destroyed his Honda and he destoyed his truck all in one day!

Sucks you banged it up... It is fun to off road though!vI know the feeling, I tend to avoid mudding in my newer trucks these days. Don't get the flamethrowers out yet, my truck is far from a pavment queen I just try to keep it in more open and less rocky fields and such.
Call me a retard, but I'd love something similar to a cover king made with openings for windows and such! Wouldn't prevent the dents but will help avoid those scratches and chips from twigs and rocks!

Last time I went fourwheeling with mine I trashed about $1000 worth of front end parts. My rear replacement bumper saved my rear quarter panel big time on one part. I started to slide sideways into a rock and thankfully the bumper caught me instead. Needless to say, my fourwheeling days are over with.

Call your insurance. I did that once and it worked wonders. Body Shop waved the deductable and my insurance didnt go up. You'd be amazed what a phone call can accomplish.

Thats why I quit off roading my trucks and got into ATVs. Much more fun and I realy dont give a rip if I or anyone else damages them. For some of the damage created on trucks buy beating on them you can almost buy an entire new ATV. Fixing ATVs is cheap and easy compared to trucks. Not to mention that they will go infantly more places than a big oll truck.
About 2 months ago I drove a little too close to the shoreline at a lake we were camping at a buried the right front tire in about 2 feet of mud and damaged the rocker panel and front quarter panel. I called my insurance agent, got an estimate of $1200 and got the whole thing repaired for nothing. It was even covered under comprehensive so my rates aren't going up either. Maybe I was lucky, but I would check it out.

Ditto! That's what the bed of the Dodge is for, as soon as the asphalt ends, I unload the Polaris (or KTM, depending on my mood and the conditions).
