OK, without the specifics of the 12v and fueling, to take advantage of the twins you have, which are capable of supporting 750HP and 70lbs of boost, you need to be in the 425-450hp range to begin with to spool properly and get the egts down. That is what I've found out so far... not going to represent that as fact, just what I was told...

I was impressed with it and so was the guy with the dyno. it was the first diesel on his dyno and it beat the cobra that he had to move to get mine on. I cant wait until the next one as I have added the nitrous since then. If I can get this egt problem figured out. By th way this truck has a stock bottom end with 321,000 miles!

I fabbed up some supports for the cold pipe so it doesnt blow off. Now the silicone only has to deal with boost and not holding it all together. I installed the second boost gauge in the cold pipe and we are raring to go. I have done a few pulls with the w/m and a few on nitrous. I dont think I have big enough pills in now as I cant feel the difference and its not cooling it down.

The 3b starts to light at about 1700 rpms and is pushing 28psi by 2800rpms. I still cant get the flutter out of the wastegate but I still have a little more room to play on the actuator. I will be in the market for a 26cm housing soon. The one I have is a 28cm i think (Casting is hard to read).

The wierd thing about the set up is that I show no boost until about 1500rpms on either gauge. But the truck isnt doggy. I thought the boost line was pinched or something so I changed it out and there is no difference.

FWIW, my 3b is 26cm (I thought they were only available in 26 and 32?) and I am seeing it start to move around 1500rpm and I see 25-27 psi from it around 2600 rpm on up. The top turbo is wastegated at 25 psi. Blow off valves set at about 50 psi. Most I've seen so far measured at intake horn is 46 psi. But I need more fuel to spin 'em!

Most I've seen so far (just running the 4.4 Smarty) is 48psi. I also have a couple blow off valves set at 50psi and haven't tried adjusting them. The actual boost could be a little higher, but I generally prefer my head gaskets to be in-tact.

At sea level I can't get the EGT's past 1330 with the twins and Smarty on #9.

Makes a huge difference. I was at 4200-4400' before and EGT's were over 100* higher at WOT.

Nathan (MPI) has a great reputation. I bought a set made by Hellmann Performance. They're an old school setup of a 40 over a 3B. I'll get pictures as soon as they get here. He called just a little while ago to tell me they're shipping out (and I had to pay him the other half of the money, haha). I hope they work as well as RC says they will.. I miss just driving it..
