I am having problems with my 40/3B set up, nasty EGTs and weird shutter when the w/g (Internal) opens. Who is a good person to talk to about this???

Uh Rip at SourceAutomotive bent the pipe, I welded, grinded, powdercoated it, and installed it! 65psi and 25,000 miles so far. One headgasket down hopefully no more to follow!

Dodge 359...

Seriously, If Mark Wilson at PDI doesn't help you, (you do seem to have PDI street twins or are they from someone else?), that is why I started this thread, to help with twins!! Hopefully someone else with knowledge can chime in.

These are actually half mine (The HX40 and Downpipe) and half Harry Piers (HT3B, coldpipe and hot pipe).

Can a wastegate shutter?

Check out the snazy new sig!!

Great sig...

And yes it can. In fact, my twins I bought from Phil Baxter here; that's why he pokes fun at me, and he said he experienced a problem that sounds like what you are describing.. I did not. Mine seem to be working the way they should. Although from my understanding, Piers modified the wastegate opening to be a fair amount larger on his sets of twins. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Just a guess on my part...
