Soulezoo, they've just been around forever.. I'm going from a single that was working great into the low 600's to try these. RC *** set me up with Joe to build the same setup he has. He's made mid 800's on diesel only with them, and 1132 on nitrous.. My goal is 800 plus on diesel only.. Time will tell..

Finally got my GDP hooked up and downloaded smarty beta 4.3 to see what I could get... well heck!! I DO NOT NEED A SMOKE SWITCH WITH THAT!!! My poor neighbors as I pulled up the hill going out... man it's like I had no turbo at all!!! Hmm... I did go by a neighbor I don't like and floored it just to choke him out

Anyway... back to beta 4.4. I have to roll on the throttle to keep smoke down and get the turbos up. They sure don't spin like a stocker! But when they do... hang on.

So guys with twins and smarty... what are you running? Is there something out there to spin the top turbo faster without being the neighborhood mosquito fogger?

I got rid of 4.4 my miledge dropped a bunch and that was after experimenting and roasting tirtes with the new toyz!!! So I just loaded mild torque but I am loading wild right now.. My miledge did go back up and the timing/injector rattle went away...Get an mp-8 and run it on 40% that will help with the lower end grunt!!

My mileage dropped a bunch with 4.4 too-- because I couldn't keep my foot out of it! When I went from 4.4 to wild aftermarket turbo, the overhead (I didn't hand calc so I know it is just relative) went up 4mpg. But lost a lot of the fun factor too. Well I know now that 4.3 is pretty much un-runnable except at the track. 4.4 is ok as long as I take the time to let the turbos spool before nailing it. I know you like the mp-8 but am going to wait for the new quad X2 and stack with smarty. But on the mp-8 question... since you went from a5k to twins, does that really help spool faster without making a ton of smoke?

Yeah my miledge has dropped a bunch but that's even after I had fun breaking in twins... I went the last two tanks and drove extremely conservative at most times and my mileadge was not good.. 14.... That's the worst I have ever gotten... I talked to a member that had the new wild torque 4.09 and the old 4.05 and the old lites around 1500 rpm when the new lites around 2500 big difference so he sent me the old version and I am goona load it tonight and try it out I just filled her up this afternoon to do some testing..

On the mp-8 yes it does help on the 5k but there is nothing that can help that bad **** from smoking..... you could pour diesel in the intake of it and she's still beller smoke plumes!!! With the twins you have to HAMMER down to even get smoke.. THey clear up so fast it's not even funnnny!! I can hardly get it to lag down towing 20k to get it to smoke now with the 5k I'd blow smoke for miles... Literally miles!!! So I am curious to see with the lower grunt of the mp-8 and this new/old version of the wild torque how it works then!!!

Hope that helps!!!
