Gonna take the time now to let everyone in on what I am up to of late with twins.
As you all know, I've been running some custom Garrett BB twins from Peak Diesel with awesome results.
Well never satisfied with what is enough, I've gone in a different direction to get even more air with bigger twins. They are being made now, should have them in a couple of weeks.
I've moved up to a hybrid gt4094r on top, which makes it competitive with a silver bullet for airflow (just a little less than the SB at 80 lbs/min) maybe closer to the silver 64; not sure, maybe someone else with knowledge of silver series airflow can help me out here. The advantage here is in towing. The Garrett will come on much earlier in the rpm range, and progress more smoothly. Anyone that tows with a SB and an auto can explain what I am talking about.
On the bottom, we are going with a custom gt4518r. Airflow on that is 138 lbs/min. That is on par with a s488, but will spool faster and again start at a little lower rpm range.
I am excited to get them back and try them out!

Well, I'll have to get them on and separate the theory from real world. In theory they should be good to a hot 900+ RWHP on #2 yet still be as responsive as old school towing twins (hx35/bht3b) for towing with no egt or lag issues even at reduced HP settings (say mid 300's).
