Anybody know where to buy the plug other than a dealership? The parts guy at my dealership tells me there is a huge backorder in the Mid-Atlantic region. He was supposed to get them in December but didn't. He's not sure when they'll be in.

 

I just bought a block heater from cummins, came with the cord for 44 dollars

I went yesterday to buy one from the dealership. $85!!!! There is apparently a new part that supercedes the old part. I looked up the part at wholesale...$61. Bought one on ebay for $24...shipped

 

my buddy went to the dealer and they wanted $55 for the cord, called me up and was freaked out. told him to go to Cummins and he ended up our the door for less than $14 for the cord.
