Block heater cord--where to plug it in?
Can someone describe where you plug the engine block heater cord into the engine? It wasn't an option factory-installed on my truck, so I bought the cord from the dealer. The box contains the cord and absolutely no other information! Thanks!

Remove the air intake tube between the air box and the turbo. You'll find the block heater just behind the oil filter, screwed into the side of the engine block. Connect your cord here.

Thanks for all the help! Mine is now installed. I ended up zip-tying it to the plastic shroud on the psgr side of the radiator to hold the plug up where I wanted it and to keep the last 18" of cord away from any wear edges.
