Finally got to change out transmissions this past weekend and throw in my spare NV5600.
I popped my mainshaft a couple of weeks back at the Daleville, Indiana hook.

all that horsepower had to go somewhere. justin doesnt say much but he has a some parts for backup. he is serious on keeping the truck going. I have some spare parts and I would like to have more

Yep, that is definitely a hardened piece of steel. Anyone have any idea what type of steel and the Rockwell hardness??

 

I think with all the hopping of late I am going to have to watch which pulls I use my Mickey's and full blocks at.
Tracks are especially sticky around these parts this year.

I would've broke another shaft this past Saturday but I clutched it before I did any massive carnage.

What is the diameter of that shaft?
