Fired up the new motor today and everything was good for about 45 sec and the oil pressure dropped to 0 on the stock gauge. So i hooked a mechanical gauge up to it and it showed 0 the whole time. I dropped the pan and checked the pickup and it was clean. Still no oil pressure though, any ideas? Is the oil pump under the front cover on these motors?

 

still no answers guys, and i cant come up with anymore ideas. Anyone?
