I don't have a boost fooler on my Excursion currently (see sig for info), what amount of boost will the ECM tolerate before thinking something is wrong?

And what does the ECM do if you exceed that amount? Just set a code? or go into some sort of limp mode?

it shouldnt throw any codes just simply wont make as much boost as it would with the boost fooler.

 

It will make plenty of boost and then throw an overboost code once you exceed the 40psi mark. It will not go into limp mode though. Now, you may get low boost codes which will throw it into limp mode until you clear the code...
This was my experience.....
