NFab steps and tailgate "spoiler" (pics)

Installed NFAB steps and I am thrilled with them. Frankly i am kicking myself for going step-less for so long. thruck is an 06 and the drivers seat is already ruined from sliding in and out so much and i am not even a big guy....anyway also put on the factory spoiler you usually see on the 1500s. it serves a real purpose as i haul a load form time to time that is loaded with a forklift. not the best pics but i could not wait to put them up........

I've had NFAb's on a couple of trucks and they are well made steps that also add some rocker panels protections from road debris. The down side is the the pinch weld installation. For the price I think they could fab some brackets that utilize the frame for a much more secure install. Where you have drill the pinch weld only leaves about 1/4 inch or so of space and I believe it will eventually be problamatic if you keep the truck a long time. BTW I install steps on trucks in my business and most use the frame. With all of that said I would still by them again. Mike

They look awesome. I ruined my seat too because I don't have steps on my truck. Where did you get them?

i got them through 4 wheel parts for $410. They bolt to the pinch welds but i also used some of my own self tapping screws to the body. they feel very sturdy

Do you have to remove the panel on the inside of the tailgate to attach the "spoiler"? Looks great!!

No, it required tapping some holes but nothing had to be removed.

Thanks man! yes, i got it from the dealership for $79. a must have IMO if a forklift ever pulls up to the rear of your rig! it is actually covering up a couple of dents from over zealous material handlers........

Thanks for the info. One more question...... does it cover any of the tailgate on the inside of the bed? If so about how much? My bedliner comes to within a 1/2" of the top of my tailgate and I'm trying to decide if it would interfere with the fit of the spoiler.
