new 05 what to do to it.
well guys, i just bit the bullet, and orderd a new truck. How does the price sound? $35,200 2005 slt 3500 single rear wheel, CUMMINS!!! six speed prem. cloth sattelite radio, limited slip, sport, and a bunch more options. i shopped around at a whole bunch of big dealers and small ones too, and they were all about the same price. Now i got a couple questions for yall . if i was to get an aftermarket stereo (alpine) would the factory sirrus radio tuner adapt to the alpine? cause if not i will tell the dealer to take it off of the list. but i would like to have it on there when i get it. second question, what lifts would you guys go with. i am gunna put a lift on there i just dont know how big or which brand. im looking to pull one in a while, but not a lot, i was thinkin about a 4.5" skyjacker but dont know if that would be too much. i want good ride quality, with dependance. (dont want stuff breaking on lift) how does the third gen 4.5" skyjacker compare in hieght to the 2nd gen 5" tuff country. do the second gens sit higher to begin with, or are they about the same? Oh and what is the vote on interiors? i havent decided which one to get taupe or dark slate (cloth) Thanks in advance, Jordan
OH and on edit, which box would you guys recomend going with on it? I was leaning towards the juice with additude, but not fully decided yet

For the SLT's I like the taupe, better contrast. But it also depends on the exterior color and how hard you are on your truck. If your in the dirt all the time and work out of it and have kids in and out, I'd get the dark slate, hides the dirt and grime better. You'd think the taupe would be better for that, but it isn't.
For power, sounds like people just rave about the Bully Dog Power Pup. I'm going to get one of those after my EGT gauge install.
Not sure on the lifts...Superlift makes some nice 4" kits with Bilstein shocks. I would go with that one if I was going 4"-5". I'm going to get their 2" lift coil spring leveling kit & some Bilsteins (down the road a ways).

I have a Tuff country lift on mine and really like it. You can look at my gallery. I am running the Van Aaken 3.2 and really like it for towing. It tapers on in the higher RPMs but it pulls like you would not believe in the lower.
