Need a Tranny pan

Hi guys, my baby was involved in a in an accident, so was my girlfriend, and the transmission pan was damaged. I have a 2003 2WD and was wondering if anyboby might have one laying around and would wanna sell it. I'm not sure if there are different sizes and haven't had a chance to do much research, I was just kinda feeling around to see if anyone had some input. I found an aftermarket for about $130 and held 4 qts over stock, sounds like a pretty good deal, what do you guys think?

Get the aftermarket. If you gotta pay for one you might as well get one that will hold extra trans fluid and give your trans a little extra fluid to keep it cooler. The general consensus, I think, is that an aftermarket trans pan will allow your fluid to run about 30 degrees cooler on a hot day.

Sounds like you race a little too, so you should definately go aftermarket, imo.

I have had a Mag-Hytec double deep pan on mine since it's first trans fluid change at 15K miles. Has 125K now. Very happy with it.

Thanks so much guys, it means a lot to know there are good people out there to help out the less fortunate. Fortunatly i was able to knock out the dented part and mig the hole, which wasn't near as bad as I thought it was. Again thanks,
Chuck
PS if anybody has an extra built tranny laying around, I could use that too
