Need some advice
Got a few questions for you guys since I don't know a whole lot about diesels yet. Right now I am debating on wether or not to lift my truck or put a tranny in it. I want to do both but can only do one right now. I have the Triple dog in my sig and I want to be able to run in on extreme daily and not mess anything up so I have called a few tranny places and think I am going to go with DTT if i get one. My question is can the TC, Vb and billet input shaft hold my goal of 475-500 rwhp? What else would I need to run the extreme or Crazy larry? Turbo, fuel pump, injector or any other modifications to the motor? If I get a tranny I would like to be able to stack with something like the EZ, nothing serious, is there anything that stacks well with the Bully dog? Would a stack with a upgraded tranny get me to the 13's in the 1/4 mile? Thanks for any help guys.
Ok lots of questions, so I will try to help with some of them.
I would get the transmission fixed first. I had a truck and we did the DTT and wow, it was awesome.
If you want fast dont lift it. The taller the truck the more wind resistance you wil have and therefore a slower time on the strip.
Next you can add a module, like the Edge EZ or the van Aaken boxes. They stack really good with the Bully Dog.
Give me a call when your ready and I will take care of you, and get you a good deal as a member of this site.

I'd have to agree with HP upgrades go for the transmission!
The lift looks nice but bigger tires are not the way to go for speed!! No one that has good times at the track has over 33" tires and none of them are lifted!

THanks HP, I'll let you know when I'm ready to upgrade some more. Anyone else have ideas on the turbo or other stuff. Times are not really that important to me, I just want it to be faster than it is now with just the bully dog on performance.

Hey, 0425004x4...Since you put the spacer kit on the front. When you have a load in the rear of your truck does it sag now. Such as towing a trailer or having a heavy loaded bed?????

OCsurf15, I have not towed anything over 4,000 pounds yet but nope it doesnt squat at all. Heavy loads might be different. You can always get airbags if you need them. IMHO the leveling kit is definitley worth it for looks.
