Need quiet exhaust

I backed over a boulder and crimped my tailpipe. Going to use this as an excuse to uprade the exhaust. I am already running a Quadzilla and cold air intake. I do alot of long distance driving and want to still be able to listen to the radio. I am looking at a banks monster exhaust. Any suggestions????

Or you can go the cheap route...and replace the tail pipe and swap the OEM muffler for a donaldson...42 or 51 incher.

you could also go with the route i went with, and build your own - although, buying a replacement muffler will be easier - just throwing out options! I have heard good things about donaldson replacements...

My 4" Silverline duals (no kitty - turbo back) are fine - nice sound if you stomp on it, but otherwise not bothersome (at least to my ear...)

I've had the banks cat back for a while now. Anything you put on is going to be a bit louder. The Banks is a bit louder (in a good way) than stock on the highway. But the good news is it got rid of that annoying 70mph/2krpm drone. The system has been on for over two years now. Very little rust and I have not regretted my choice.
The reason I chose this sytem over some of the others was the warranty (lifetime).

Got rid of the 70 mph vibration!!

If the banks gets rid of the 70 mph vibration it would be worth the expense. I always have to turn my radio up between 66 and 72, goes away at 80; however, driving a 4x4 above 80 starts to exceed common sense, and I can't drive 55, its not in my blood. The Dodge fix was to tell me to drive the speed limit, funny, the speed limit in Michigan is 70!!!!

I have the Banks Monster exhaust and it is a good product. No rust and been on for over a year. The quality was good. No issues installing. Just make sure when you put the tip on that it is extended out past the side of the truck or you will get some drone. I had to adjust mine 3 months after I installed it.

Actually the exhaust got rid of the drone. The vibration is a totally different animal. I got rid of that when I shimmed the carrier bearing housing with a 5/16 shimm. I used to know exactly when I hit 70mphr. Now I have no idea.
