I was reading the directions and it says i need to tap the speed circuit and the reverse circuit. Any ideas?

if your replacing the radio from a premium system with canbus, get the pac-audio c2r-chy, its the radio replacement harness that converts all that info from the can-bus and gives you the speed out, reverse sense, dashlight sense etc. also look up on avic411 in the hack/mod section and do the bypass so you can fully control the nav while you drive ( will also let you watch a movie in while in motion to )

 

I ordered the C2R-CHY today, and I already did the hack. THANKS!!!! Nothing like taking a dremmel to your perfectly fine dash. Ughhh. I found some black vinyl at Wally World that is pretty close to the dash. So once all is cone I will vinyl the area around the stereo and ac controls.

 

How much? I think thats the one that I was looking at that everybody does something to so you can watch it while driving, eating a salad, smokin, talkin on the phone, and yelling at children in the backseat while putting on make-up(sorry i like to dress up like Peter Chris once a week) in your 750 hp smarty/tnt truck?

I got the AVIC-D3 from Best Buy for 699.00 the XM unit was 101.00 and the C2r-CHY was 75 from crutchfield.

 

you can get a package deal with the bluetooth ipod and xm/nav tuner for 800 to 900 0n ebay and a few other online sites

check out the z2 it is similar but no hideaway brain to deal with the headunit is a harddrive and does alot more I love mine
