Need help. clattering noise

my bestfriend has a 05 dodge dully has a 5.9. with a 6 speed, he had a shop replace motor cause of a valve failure. a mechanic shop replaced it. while they were there they replaced a clutch. the motor was bought from jasper motors. it was a long block. then installed engine, and got everything hooked up. then started it has a clattering noise when idling. or when clutch isn't engaged. so they pulled tranny out and replaced with another clutching thinkin it had a problem. installed and problem still there. only time it goes away is when you push in the clutch or rev motor up. ran engine with out tranny on it. just flyheel and clutch and run fine. they replaced transmission thinking it had a bad bearing or something. and still has same issue, that it did before. clattering like it has a bad springs or wore out clutch. looking for ideas here guys cause these guys have no clue what else to do. I advise to maybe check clearece on used flywheel. But im looking for options if anyone has had a problem like this. thanks for any info that is givin.
