I need the dimensions of the head unit for the Brakesmart controller.

I would like to mount it in the open slot just below the radio on my '06 Laramie and need to know if it fits and how well.

If someone could measure there unit I would greatly appreciate it.

Also if anybody has mounted one in this location any info. on the install etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a brakesmart in and I wanted to mount it there. Won't fit.. No way..

 

Why wouldn't it fit in there? I just measured my cubby hole under the radio in my 2005. I've got over 8 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 2 inches high! Looks like it would fit fine based on the link with dimensions.

Do you guys have a different dash/stereo setup that makes your cubby hole smaller?

Yes, Its much smaller on the 06 Laramie with electronic shift. Cant be any more than 2" tall.
